Keynote - play images to fill the screen
1 - go to View > Inspector > Document: in the Document tab, click on the Slide Size dropdown menu and select Custom
enter the pixel dimensions as follows:
2 - Match the slide size in Keynote to the pixel dimensions of the images being used
If the images have more than one size, choose the largest resolution to match
3 - In Keynote, go to Keynote > Preferences and make these settings:
General tab: Editing section: select the option: Scale placed images to fit on slide
Slide show tab: select the option: Scale slideshow to fit the display
So after I make those settings, I then have to resize all the images before uploading them to the presentation?
No, make the settings in Keynote as described, then select the images in a Finder window and drag and drop all the images on to the Navigator and they will play full screen.
The Navigator is the the side panel to the left of the slide layout window, it shows the thumbnails of the slides in the presentation.
Thanks Gary. So after I make those settings, I then have to resize all the images before uploading them to the presentation?

Hi pasqualerose2,
Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. Here's a Keynote User Guide for Mac to help. Specifically, you may want to check out Resize, rotate, and flip objects in Keynote on Mac.
Have a great day.
