Apple TV 4k switch

Which HDMI switch with at least 3 HDMI ports works well with an Apple TV 4k. I recently bought a Zetaguard switch, but it doesn't work with my Apple TV. Who can help me?

I would try this:

  1. Connect the Apple TV directly to the TV. Set the video settings very low (very compatible). 1080p SDR, 4:2:0, YCbrCr, 60/50 Hz according your TV NTSC/PAL compatibility. Set the audio settings low: Stereo.
  2. Set to sleep.
  3. Disconnect.
  4. Connect the switch.
  5. Connect Apple TV to the switch.
  6. When you have visuals and audio again, reset the video settings, and tweak to you liking. If lose image, it would revert back, as you won’t see the confirm button. Set the audio format to Auto (or Dolby Digital 5.1) again.

Verify that the status light on the Apple TV is glowing. If it doesn’t, then it doesn’t have power, or is in sleep mode. If your Apple TV doesn't turn on - Apple Support

Also verify that you are using 18 Gbps rated HDMI cables (HDMI 2.0 “Premium High Speed”), or better.

Verify that the switch supports HDCP. For 4K, that requires HDMI 2.0 or later specification, and HDCP 2.2 or later support.

Note that splitters can’t be reversed for switch use.

While I have no experience with Zettaguard devices, the first search hit on Amazon appears to be a good compatible device from the description, with generally positive ratings.

Can you elaborate on “it doesn’t work”? How did you connect, and what did you notice for results?
