How can I permanently delete old free and purchased apps from the "Purchased" list in the App Store? There are hundreds of them. I'm never going to want them again and they are taking Gigabytes.

You cannot delete your purchased items history but you can hide purchases.

You cannot delete your purchase history.
Items in the purchase history do not take up any storage space. Only installed apps take up space.
The Purchase history is not tied to a device, its tied to your Apple ID.
