My shared photo albums disappeared from my iPhone. Even albums I created are gone. People I shared the albums with can still see them and all the photos but there’s not a single shared album showing up on my phone. Please help, I had so many!!

After first checking another device to ensure that I did still have access to the album and it was ONLY my phone that had the problem, I took this advice from another site:
I reluctantly turned off the Shared Albums in Settings, turned my phone off and then back on. Then I turned Shared Albums back on and although it was slow, the album DID reappear. I hope it will work for you, too!

Go to Settings > Photos and ensure that Shared Albums is toggled on (green)
