Camera blurry on my new iMac (M1 Chip)

The image of my FaceTime (built-in) camera is terrible — super blurry and yellowish, on all applications (FaceTime, Photo Booth, Skype, Zoom). I have never had this problem on my previous iMacs or any other Mac computers. If I use a background, the background is clear, and this is obviously independent of router signal or bandwidth.

Actually, it turned out to be something blurring the camera, probably a fingerprint. A barely damp cloth rubbed over the little green light handled it. It never occurred to me, I guess I don't think of the tiny light as a camera lens, but also in retrospect, I got thrown off by seeing many reports from others about the same issue, so I assumed it was a problem with the M1 iMacs.

Thank you for your replies. I hope this helps others.
