Catalina upgrade corrupted my internal boot drive.

During the upgrade process, I got a "This operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error 49244.) alert. Now, the drive is hosed, Disk Utility can't run first aid on it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) that was running Big Sur.
