When I select Speaker Phone people can not hear me, when I turn off the Speaker Phone they can.

If I put my phone on speaker the party I’m calling can hear me but otherwise cannot. My phone is connected to my hearing aids. I can hear the party I called but they can’t hear me. If I call and put my phone on speaker they can hear me. Why is this and how do I fix it?

iPhone XR speaker/mic Person on the other line can not hear me when I’m on speakerphone… I can hear them but they can’t hear me however if I turn speakerphone off and place to my ear they can hear me… so frustrating… anyone experienced this?? Is there a quick fix??
