Hi WhoNotHow,

We understand you're unable to receive messages on an iPhone. We're happy to offer some guidance.

If your incoming messages are not working, you can try these steps: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Are you unable to receive a specific message type? For example, are you only unable to receive messages coming through the SMS service (messages with green bubbles) or are you only unable to receive messages coming through the iMessage service (messages with blue bubbles)?

If you're only unable to receive SMS messages, you'd want to contact your wireless carrier for assistance as those messages come through their network.

If you're unable to receive all messages or messages coming through the iMessage service, you'd want to contact Apple for assistance: Get Support

We hope this helps. Take care!
