I have a weird colour on my iPad. The colouring has a brownish tinge. Like a dark brown pigmentation on a persons skin. I’ve checked settings and I have shut down the device and started it up but made no difference. IPad model is iPad Air 2. MGTX2B/A iOS 14.7.1

Hi Sharon. There is no discolouration taking photos. Good Photos taken by my iPhone show up on my iPad with the brownish tinge as in the attached photo.. Colour filters are not enabled. Restating the IPad made no difference. The pictures in the photo App are all blemished by this brown tinge. Up to last week this hadn’t occurred. The iPad is updated. Thanks for your interest.

Are you noticing this discoloration when taking photos in different locations (indoors and outdoors) and in different lighting as well?
Do you have any color filters enabled? Take a look at Use display and text size preferences on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to learn how to manage these settings.
Try restarting your iPad, then take a photo. Does the issue continue?
Is your iPad updated to the latest iPadOS version? If not, back up and Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

This is a picture of the same photo as displayed on my iPad. You can see the discolouration a that brown tinge is on all displayed iPad photos on Apps and photos. But the pictures taken by the iPad are okay on my iPhone but show up discoloured on my iPad. Therefore it’s a screen display problem on the iPad.
