Glitch: Deleted tapbacks still appear in history

Anyone else figure out how to get rid off deleted tapbacks from your history? I hate it when people use them & I delete them. They still appear, time stamp out of order of course, in my history. Example: last message kept from sender (in my photo example) was in march 2021, but appears in my august history with the rest of my conversations because of their tapback — attached in an august message. Which I deleted. Am I making sense? Someone else had the same issue — I understand their frustration — this S does not delete.
