New AirPods Pro/No spatial audio

I just bought AirPods Pro and easily connected them to my 12 Pro Max but I do not have the Spatial Audio option. I open the bluetooth on my phone and go into the AirPods Pro settings and Spatial is not there. What do I need to do?
