It seems like a good number of people are having the same problem with burns. In my case it is in the exact location of the infrared sensors on the back of the watch. In search infrared light skin burns. It is definitely possible for extended exposure to infrared light twill cause skin burns, blistering.
Apple fraudulently stating this is skin an allergic reaction is totally wrong.
