How can I make my Apple Watch vibrate vs haptic tapping on my wake-up alarm?

I'm hoping this question makes sense. When I set my wake-up alarm on my Apple Watch, I get this somewhat faint, not very strong haptic tapping. I'm finding that I'm tending to sleep through this. I changed the settings in Sounds & Haptics to be Prominent rather than Default. That didn't make it any different.

I have noticed that when I set just a timer on my Apple Watch, I get a strong vibration. How can I get that same vibration on my wake-up alarm? I was used to my FitBit Alta's alarm waking me, which this is not like that.

Thanks!
