Find a Contact for ProCreate

We can't seem to be able to find a contact for an App called ProCreate. My daughter uses ProCreate on my iPad and I want to sign out and let her have it to take to college. Will she lose the files and layers in this App if I sign out and she signs in?

Not sure.

Is the iPad, in question, using the Family Sharing feature?

If not,

All apps and data within those apps are all tied to a specific Apple user ID.

You need to, at least, find a way to export these Procreate files ( maybe NOT the layered files ) to some other online or offsite dots storage/data backup service, like Google Photos, BOX, DropBox, Amazon Cloud data services, or something else similar.

I believe that Procreate does have the ability to save/export/backup files to other online/offsite data storage/data backup services.

OR

email the flattened image files to her email address and she can re-import the flattened images into the iOS/iPadOS Photos app and re-import these images back into Procreate.

If this iPad is going to be used under her own Apple ID and password, you will need to re-purchase ANY third party apps under her Apple ID.

Good Luck!

The export/email features work under Procreate’s share icon feature.

The drawing can be shared to Google Drive/Photos, BOX, DropBox ( I believe you need to install these apps into the iPad, create an account/plan, login and, if necessary, pay for additional online storage.

Google offers 100 GBs of storage for $1.99/month. 200 GBs for $2.99/month.

Google has a free 15 GBs tier, but not sure how useful that is with lots of flattened or layered image files.

BOX has a free 10 GBs plan, but their offsite data storage plans are more expensive at 10/month for 100 GBs.

DropBox only has a free 5 GBs tier plan and all their data storage plans are higher priced, also.

Google has the much better deals for their online, offsite data storage options.

It maybe just best to send/share flattened image files to her email address as this is a totally free alternative to save her work without installing any more third party apps.

These are all the alternatives

Best of Luck to You!
