I'm not getting notifications when I get messages from a specific person

I am not getting a notification when I get a message from one specific person. It will show up as not a new message and as if I have already read it. Do not disturb is not on for her messages and the hide alerts option is not on either. I have reset my phone and it did not work.

Phone notifications I have an iPhone 11 Pro max and a few days ago it stopped giving me the notification when only one person text me. It will notify me for everyone else, but not for the one person. I saw where I could delete the messages and start over but I do not want to lose my messages. Do not disturb mode Hello, so I don’t know why but when I use to put my iPhone on do not disturbe it would show me only the notifications of the two people I had selected to receive iMessages from. But now it’s showing messages from other people that I have not selected to and I basically want to know why this has been happening and I don’t know how to fix it
