Apple CarPlay

Hi all,

I just bought a new car with Carplay. I prefer having my phone physically plugged in to listen to music, and to use google maps as apposed to using bluetooth or the crappy onboard navigation system.

My question. I want to be able to get into my car and just place my phone on a dock of somesort instead of having to grab the cord and plug it in and then rest my phone somewhere. I can't seem to find anything, as most docking stations these days are wireless, and I'm not sure if that would connect with carplay. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Hello,

Does your vehicle support wireless CarPlay? Some of the newer vehicles do.

Otherwise, you are pretty much stuck with having to plug the phone into a cable. See this:

Set up CarPlay with your iPhone

Good luck.
