Isn’t there a way to buy 50 gb directly without paying monthly this is so confusing so .99 for 50 GB for one month and .99 for 100 gb for next month. Cannot we buy all together 50 GB monthly is so confusing

You don't get 100GB the next month. iCloud storage is billed monthly for a fixed amount of storage space. It is similar to renting physical storage space or renting an apartment -- you pay monthly but the space doesn't get larger.
