Nord VPN doesn't open after a recent update to macOS Big Sur from High Sierra

So, immediately after updating to Big Sur my NordVPN wasn't opening(nothing happens on click) and couldn't get a straight answer on the web or the Nord support, here is what I did:

  1. Uninstall/ delete NordVPN (Applications -> NordVPN IKE -> move to bin)
  2. Open Activity Monitor, search all processes for Nord in CPU, Memory, Energy, Disk Network and force quit them
  3. Go to System Preferences -> Network -> from the list of services delete Nord VPN service
  4. Go to User -> your account name -> Library -> search for Nord in library (particularly in application scripts and containers) and make sure to delete all the files referencing to Nord VPN
  5. Restart your mac and repeat step 2 to check if any Nord processes are still there (shouldn't be)
  6. Go back to the App Store and install NordVPN IKE
  7. This should install Nord and just login like before

I contacted Nord chat support and they asked me to download a Nord VPN application from a different link, I was sceptical, nonetheless the above solution worked for me!
