Remove your SIM card from the SIM card tray and then put the SIM card back. ... Make sure that the SIM tray closes completely and isn't loose. If you use a SIM tray from a different model iPhone, iPad, or from another phone manufacturer, it might not fit properly.

Okay, we’re not Apple. We’re other users.


We can’t unlock a carrier-locked iPhone, which is what this appears to be.


You have a carrier-locked iPhone. Your SIM is not associated with that carrier. You or (if this is a recent purchase) the seller will have to discuss clearing that lock with the carrier holding the lock.


Only the carrier can clear the lock, and not all carriers will permit the lock to be cleared.
