Is it posible to change the country or region on a Apple gift card?

Gifting to another country is very limited so I am not sure how you managed to do this. Gifting - Shopping Help - Apple

Click here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.

You must have had your browser set into the US Store (look in the bottom right corner and it will say your country) and sent the card from there. The link I provided suggests you can do that for some countries. You will have to contact Apple and see if they are prepared to give you a refund. You cannot redeem cards in a different country from that to which they are set, nor can you transfer balance.

If this was a card for yourself, you will find it is not that easy to change country just so you can spend the balance yourself.
