iPhone 8 run over turns on screen is black

My daughters iPhone 8 was ran over luckily the screen protector and case kept it from shattering the glass. You can tell it’s on but the screen is black. Can I have the screen and digitizer replaced and it still be functional as before?

iPhone 13 Pro Bottom Half of Screen Black My wife's iPhone 13 pro, which has worked flawlessly since purchased last September without issue, is black on the bottom half of the screen as of this morning. The phone has not been dropped, no water has been spilled on it, nothing that should not happen to a phone physically has happened. It just stopped working when she unlocked it this AM. Although the screen is black, the touch mechanism works. We can unlock the phone using the passcode, and anything that appears in the black portion of the screen can be touched and manipulated as normal. Also, the screen occasionally flickers on the bottom half from black to normal and back. I am presently backing up the phone. Any advice on how to proceed much appreciated!
