Aerial Screensavers no longer downloading.

Hey!

My Apple TV 4K’s aerial screensavers are no longer updating. I did a factory reset on it about 1 month ago, while troubleshooting for an unrelated WiFi issue. I don’t know how many screensavers I had downloaded before the reset, but following the reset only 5 have downloaded again. No new ones have downloaded in weeks.


Setting it to update every 24 hours has not helped. All aerial themes are turned on. I have also checked that I have sufficient storage space (I have fewer downloaded apps now than I did before the factory reset when I had all the screensavers available).


My tv is 4K and is connected via a high speed hdmi cable.


any thoughts? Is there any way for me to pull for new screensaver downloads?

Tried that + alternating between the photos. Good for one session, then it reverts back to same stuck screensaver for like a week. Think it's an Apple server problem or something, not wasting any more time with it.

Try setting a non-aerial screen saver, activate it once, then set back to Aerial, and let it get new clips over the next couple of days. That is as close to a reset as you can get for just this feature.

Leave it on to allow for downloads to happen (it won’t download anything in sleep mode).

Thank you, this worked!

FYI I set to a different screensaver yesterday and left it like that until today. But I also set the Apple TV to go to sleep after 10 hours, and left it on overnight (with just my actual tv turned off). Today I’m seeing several new aerial screensavers loaded and showing.
