when i try to activate my iphone 6s it gives me an error screen that says your iphone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. i have a strong wifi connection. does this mean the iphone 6s is shut down?

this problem is also occurring in my iphone 5s when I try to activate it, it gives me an error screen that says your iphone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached although I have a strong wifi connection and I also tried it with that sim card option but it gives me the same answer

hello im using iPhone 7,currently my phone shut down and whenever I try to activate it it says the I can't activate, server cannot be found,im soo frustrated have tried all the means for more than two months with zero success.kindly help
