External Hard Drive will not mount!

WD My Passport Drive does not seem to be mounting. The drive use to be named something else with about 800GB worth of data. Now I cannot find the data in disk utility but it just says the drive name: WD My Passport...The drive is a total of 4TB and all of that is used which in not true as their are only 800GB of space used. First Aid and force mounts are not working. I believe the last time i ejected the disk too early causing it to improperly eject. The format for this drive is also unknown when previously it was APFS format. Not too sure what I did but any fix would be super helpful
