The Help says I'm supposed to be able to filter out incoming messages by account. I have an account for work but I don't want to see those messages when I check email on my days off. They keep clogging up my mail when I check "All Inboxes". How can I ignore them?

That's the way it works.
If you don't want to see any email on your days off, then go into settings and turn off email for that account when you're off work. Or you could use a different app, like MS Outlook for iOS, for your work email and keep your personal email in the native mail app.
"All Inboxes" means "All Inboxes".
If you don't want to see a particular account, then don't click on that account or "All Inboxes".
That's the best Apple can do? How about if you have 47 inboxes?
