Credit card update for Apple Pay

I just received an updated card that is my primary CC for Apple Pay The number is the same, expiration year, and CVV changed only. There is no way to edit this info in Apple Pay. Do I need to remove the old card to add the new card, or do these details automatically update and I need not do anything?
