Hiring process.

hello! I have applied for a job in Apple through a referral who works at Apple. I have sent them my documents (CV, Cover letter) and Apple HR contacted me to upload them to my profile. It’s been 3 weeks since I applied and I haven’t got any response, neither negative nor positive. Also, I cannot see my application in Apple career center although I have received a confirmation mail stating that I successfully applied for the post. What should I do? Are 3 weeks the normal waiting period?
