I not able to connect my Apple TV to my home wifi but other wifi, so I'm wondering if there is any configurations needed on my wifi router for Apple TV to connect?

I've tried with "WPA2/WPA3 Encryption" but I got error of "Wi-Fi password you entered is not correct. Try again (-100)" and doesn't ask me to re-enter password.
It able to connect to my home Wi-Fi after I switched to "WPA/WPA2 Encryption".

My default settings is already set to WPA2-PSK.
Then that is not the reason.
I would advise to use “WA2/WPA3 Encryption” however, so that WPA3 capable devices can use WPA3, with WPA2 as fallback for older devices.

Have you considered upgrading your Apple TV 3 to an Apple TV 4K. Your ATV 3 is extremely outdated and does not come close to offerng you the content available as on the Apple TV 4K. I'm aware of that, but for me, it's a waste of buying a new one when the existing is still working fine, plus this is my girlfriend gifted me on my birthday few years ago.

Okay, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. You only cheating yourself out of a lot of great content that your ATV 3 cannot get.

If your router is set for WPA3, then that may be too new for the 3rd generation. Consider using the WPA3 + WPA2 compatibility settings, so that older devices may connect as well.
