My MacBook Air M1 can't find my WiFi6 networks

I can't see my wifi6 networks in the dropdown list for wifi connections and when I try adding one manually, it doesn't work either. I've also tried changing it so my router picks the best band and that doesn't allow my M1 to connect to the WiFi6 band either. Am I missing something in my router settings? I set it to WAP3 for the security, but that's the only change I made. I can see my 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ bands just fine, but the 6GHZ doesn't show up for my main network or my guest network.

Here is what I have

Big Sur Version 11.5.1

MacBook Air (M1)

Chip: Apple M1

Memory: 16GB

MacBook Air (2020 or later)
