Apple diagnostics is stuck

I started an apple diagnostic on my apple MacBook Pro, intel based. I pressed D key, the computer asks me for my network password but doesn’t recognize it and I am stuck. I tried to restart it with R, nothing happens. What can I do to stop the diagnostic or to force restart the computer?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.5

You can always force a shut down if necessary—

hold the power button/TouchID for ~6-10 sec

ref: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac - Apple ...
