My lost iPhone is still not showing up on find my iPhone on iCloud. It has been 2 days. Any suggestions?

Is there anyway to track and retrieve phone lost in a black and yellow cab and does not show up on find my phone app? It was powered down when I lost it. SIM Card is still activate to receive calls.

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Unfortunately, if the phone is not powered on, it cannot be tracked. To be tracked a phone has to have been set up in Find My, it must be powered on and it must be connected to a network.
