How can I unpair an apple tv 4k remote from the apple tv ? if i go to Settings > Remotes and Devices the only device shown is my Iphone. I need to do it since my friend has another apple tv and the remote is working on mine from the other room!

This wouldn’t happen accidentally, as it requires manual pairing of the remote with the other box.
There is no unpairing option built-in, as Apple TV needs a remote.
- Normally, a newly paired replacement remote would replace the previous pairing, as only one remote can be paired at a time.
- A reset would remove the pairing, but also everything else, and you’d have to do the setup again.

Thank you for your answer, indeed i’ve used that remote to set up the wifi on my apple tv but I didn’t know there is no unpairing option or that it wasn’t gonna be shown on my devices. So the only solution is to reset the apple tv? :( we will try to pair the remote with the other box so mine stays just with my Iphone.
