How do I transfer from USA to EU region with my Apple Watch?

I have a Watch SE and am moving from USA to Europe. How do I keep using my cellular functionality after I move?

Family setup no longer available in Australia - Truphone not taking more customers I bought my daughter an apple watch so we could contact her without needing to get her a phone. We specifically chose the apple watch so we could control contacts etc We bought one for our son about a year earlier and it works well. However, this is no longer an option as Truphone (the sole provider in AU) is no longer taking new customers. As a result family setup isnt working in AU. We returned the watch and apple gave us a refund. Apple have not updated their website and Ive tried emailing and calling no no avail. My question is this - Does anyone know if Apple is working on finding an alternative MVNO or carrier for this service? Im still keen to get one for my daughter, but if no fix is coming then I'll just move on. It would be good if Apple would change its website or at least acknowledge my complaint.. If anyone has any insight be great to hear. cheers

If the watch was bought in the US the cellular part won't work in Europe,the watch will function as a GPS only model.

A cellular watch bought in the US will only function in North America,Canada,Mexico and Puerto Rico anywhere else it will function as a GPS only watch.
