How do I stop my iphone from generating a new hotspot password everytime I turn the hotspot on? I have reset settings and reset network settings. I have put in my own password and as soon as I hit done a different password is auto generated.

Thank you for your note, but when I put a password of my choice in my hotspot settings and hit it doesn’t save and goes to a system generated password. The password changes every time I even look at the password so I can use it to connect with another one of my devices regardless of turning it on or off.

The password changes every time I even look at the password so I can use it to connect with another one of my devices regardless of turning it on or off.
Then your next step is to contact your cellular provider. Hotspot is a carrier provided feature. Your provider may prevent changing the Wifi password yourself.
Don't turn it off or set a personal Hotspot password, by going to Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot > Wifi Password and set a password of your choosing there. Personally, I don't turn off Personal Hotspot as no one can access it without the correct password to begin with.
