Lacie External Hard Drive suddenly won't mount.
When I try to repair I receive a message saying Operation failed:
Beyond frustrated. I tried resetting with no luck. Is there any way to recover my disk?

Well you can earse/format/initilize the drive as new and start over...
I suspect the drive is in a state of failure—recommneded course of action, buy a new drive.
