iPad says it cannot find an air printer

After the last update this week 8/10/2021 my iPad cannot find my HP Envy printer. I’ve been air printing for over 5 years. I’ve turned them both off and restarted and still it cannot find the air printer.

My iPhone 8 finds it just fine.

Since you say the iPhone 8 will find it, I'm guessing that it is on the same wi-fi network as your iPad. Since you have already tried a restart, you can try resetting your Network Settings. It will clear all of your wi-fi passwords, but will not delete any of your content. Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Make sure you know your wi-fi network's password before doing this.
