So I was trying to lock my iPhone and suddenly this thing popped up so what does that mean? Does it erase all of the sweeting’s, photos…etc?

Presumably you’re talking about an iPhone 12 Pro. It comes with a USB-C to Lightning Cable, which is also presumably what you’re talking about. Naturally, the Lightning portion of that cable fits in your iPhone.
But why?
It says: “Connect your device to your computer using the cable that came with your device.” Which câble the USBC? Or just the usb that I use to charge my iPhone
Use the USB-C if (and only if) your computer has a USB-C port. Otherwise, use a USB cable.
