Unsuccessful iMessage activation

I’ve been trying to set up my iMessage and FaceTime but it keeps saying activation error I have turned off the iMessage and the FaceTime then I switched off the phone and tried connecting it again but it still says activation error

iMessage activation I just got a new phone and my text messages and iMessages are not working correctly. When I go under settings and messages and try to choose my phone number for an option for both FaceTime and iMessage it will not let me select my phone number and it says and error has occurred during activation. I restarted my phone and still nothing.
