To unfreeze a page

My iPad has froze in a app, how do I get the screen to move.

Above is correct.


If the app itself is wedged, and not the iPad, you can quit it.

Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support


On the off chance that the Google URL foolishness embedded in the reply above breaks (this foolishness is one of the reasons I stopped using Google), here’s the direct link:

Restart your iPad - Apple Support


And if the display is stuck as can sometimes happen…

If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support
