USB SuperDrive
Time Machine isn't recognizing a new USB SuperDrive. How do I backup my MacBook Air with the external? Thanks.

Please clarify. The Superdrive is an Apple CD drive which is not related to Time machine. Do you have an external hard drive that you want to use as a Time Machine drive? If so you will need to be sure it is formatted then enter the TM app and use that drive.
