Can I add a debit card to my child’s Apple Watch wallet?
I don’t want to use Apple Pay, as our kids get their allowance and debit accounts through GreenLight.
why can’t I just add a debit card to their Apple Watch or iPhone accounts?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities today! We understand you have some questions about adding a card to the Wallet app on your child's iPhone or Apple Watch, and we'd be happy to provide you with the best information.
To start, we do want to let you know that when you add payment cards to the Wallet app, this would require you to set up Apple Pay. Children and teens under the age of 18 are able to use Apple Cash Family to make purchases, as well as send and receive money through Messages. If the child is younger than 13, a card cannot be added to the Wallet app. We have more details in "How children and teens can use Apple Cash" here: Set up and use Apple Cash Family - Apple Support
