Running BigSur Version 11.5.2 trying to install Driver for Printer HP LaserJet P1005. I can download it, unpack it to HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers.pkg but when I try to install it I get: "This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."
I do not know how to solve this.

Did you try the Dec 11, 2020 package download from Apple (link in my previous message), which has been known to work with a number of other printers under Big Sur? Reset the printing system first. As always when testing printer drivers, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files (documents, photos, et cetera) before you start.

To begin with, it may be a good idea to reset the printing system. Does the operating system offer a suitable driver to use?
Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem - Apple Support
Add a printer on Mac - Apple Support
If necessary (and applicable), you may want to check whether the Dec 11, 2020 HP Printer Drivers v5.1 for macOS (https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US) package from Apple would change anything. Look for something like the HP LaserJet P1005 1.6.1 driver mentioned in the referenced Printer and scanner drivers for Mac - Apple Support article.
I selected MacOS 11 and the correct printer, so it should be the correct driver.
I also downloaded the HP Easy Start app which installed the HP Smart app which sadly isn't able to find my printer (plugged in via USB) - no matter how often I try.
Still no solution.

Which driver have you downloaded, and are you sure it contains the drivers for your printer.
If you go to the HP support page for your printer and select macOS 11 (Big Sur) as the operating
system you are only offered the download of the HP Easy Start app.

If you download this app and run it it will connect with HP and download the correct drivers
and software for your printer and OS.
