Printers - Automatic username for local account

Hello,

I work the Helpdesk in an Enterprise enviroment, where we have user accounts controlled by an AD. However, for our Macs the accounts are local to the macbook, and have different username and passwords to avoid confusion.

When we have an user attempt to print, they must use their AD credentials to connect to our print server. However, MacOS will automatically put the username for the local account in the Name field. See below image for an example of this

We've tried to inform our users multiple times that they must use their AD username and password, not their local credentials when printing but it doesn't seem to stick. This causes Hold for Authentication errors, which need to have either the print job refreshed or in some cases we need to remove the printer password from Keychain access manually.

My question is, is there a way to remove this function where MacOS automatically fills in the username? I would much prefer it if it was left blank instead. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!
