How do I power down my iPhone 12 mini? It is stuck with “slide to power off” and “Emergency SOS” on screen. Online instructions to hit volume up, then volume down , then side button do NOT work. When I try instructions, the SOS sound comes on!!!

None of the suggested fixes worked to unstick my iPhone 12 mini. Eventually the phone battery powered down and the phone turned off. When I powered it back on, the phone was unstuck.

Thank you , but I have tried the instructions at least a dozen times. (Not a helpful response!)
If the problem happens again then try:
Press Vol up.
Press vol down.
Press & hold on/off button until you see the Apple logo then release the button.
