Series 6 watch display is blank. Charging and forced reset did not return screen operation. What is next step to fix watch?

I was able to turn the watch on and off as you described but the screen remained blank. It’s off to the Apple repair center now. You’ll need to unpair from your iPhone and erase data before Apple can begin repair or replace process.
If the Watch is on but the screen is dark, It is very possible that Theater Mode is on. If you tap the screen will it come on? Check this page in the User Guide. Use Control Center on Apple Watch - Apple Support
Thank you for the advice but it did not fix the problem. I am able to turn the watch on and off but the screen remains blank when off and on. Chat with Apple technician resulted in an appointment for repair at approved Apple repair location. I expect the watch will be shipped back to Apple repair location.
I have this problem too today. The screen suddenly goes blank and disconnected from my earbuds. I have tried hard reset, and the screen remains blank. If I long press the side button, the watch will give vibrate feedback. I think it's switched to the power-off screen as it seems I can switch off the Apple Watch by sliding my fighter roughly on the position where the power-off slider should be.
Thanks for your advice. I have drop mine at the Apple Store for the repair process.
Theater is a nice feature that you can exit by tapping or button push. None of those options would return the display. My watch had to go back to the Apple repair center.
