I just bought an Apple TV and am having a hard time setting it up. When I do set up internet it just gives me the wheel of death for 20 min then tells me that it was unable to set up your device. Try again or call support.

I’m having a hard time setting up my new Apple TV with my internet.

  • Please try unplugging your modem for 2-3 minutes and then repower it.
  • Please do the same with your router
  • Then finally do the same with the Apple TV and re-try setting it up


Also, by chance do you have any third party VPN installed?
