I need to restore a previous copy of word doc which is on my desk top that I've saved over. Ive gone into time machine and the most recent previous date is 11th August. How do I access yesterday?

restore items backed up with Time Machine

Local Snapshots are allocated on the source volume. If you want to restore from Local Snapshots follow the instructions, Recover all your files on Mac however choose the source volume not Time Machine backup disk.

Local Snapshots are allocated on the source volume. If you want to restore from Local Snapshots follow the instructions, Recover all your files on Mac however choose the source volume not Time Machine backup disk.
