One of my charging port locks came out and my charger only works at a single angle.

Recently I’ve found out that one of the thing holding the lightning cable that is in the charging port has came out. Now my charger works at a single angle. Is there anyway I can put the lock back into it’s place by myself? And no, there is no dust on the Lightning port.

The Lightning port of your iPad has two spring-retainers that secure the Lightning plug when inserted. The springs are integral to the socket; if either spring is broken, the port must be replaced.

You will need to seek repair from an Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider:
