Hi,
I bought the new iMac from my local retailer, I asked if the iMac could be connected to a windows laptop via USBc to HDMI and was told yes. However, after connecting the USBc to HDMI and then to the laptop I am unable to find out how to make this work....can anyone help?

They were mistaken or they outright lied.
I agree. Can’t you return it for a full refund?
