iPhone XR left side keyboard not working

We've reviewed your question and it looks like you are having some display issues with your son’s iPhone. It's understandable that you'd want this resolved, so allow us to assist with that. If you were able to complete those steps and still find the issue persists, we would like to have you open a full screen app (Maps works great for this) and see if the same general area of the screen is failing, or if this just occurs with the keyboard. Make sure to check both Portrait Mode and Landscape Mode by rotating the iPhone.
